Looking forward to Canada and the EU now taking Boeing before the World Trade Organization for its own gross subsidies from Uncle Sam.

I think at Boeing, the question around the board table must be, "so who's bright idea was it to start this trade war in the first place?"

What Federal money? There is none in the CS service entity. That is why there is no Federal shares unlike Quebec which has a financial and shareholder stake. Unless your paying taxes in Quebec? Not sure people in Quebec have a concern - actually think they are breathing a sigh of relief. Any loans made to the Bombardier Corp by the GoC are a different matter and now not so controversial given the detachment of the CS program.

In a perfect world we would all like to see everything produced in Canada - but the reality is much of the new Delta will be mfg in Canada albeit assembled in the USA now. Better that than nothing - better future orders than none. The CS series will now get more orders .... meaning more work in Canada.

The engines are still going to be made by Pratt and Whitney Canada in Montreal area. Many of the parts and engineering is still going to be based in Canada. It is a win-win for everyone.
