Nice pictures! But it seems like some links are bad, or other pictures got mixed in. Goat tower? Make America rake again? Polar cats?

What month are these pictures from?

they are from the end of november.

the other stuff is just silliness. the joke was calling the little tower a goat tower. during the california fires trump tried to say the president of finland told him that they don't get forest fires because they rake the forests, which confused and amused the finns. did not really see any polar cats though unfortunately.

Awesome pictures man. I stayed at the same resort two years ago over Thanksgiving. It is such a wonderful place. When I was there there was at least three feet of snow covering everything. How did you like the Reindeer? Kiitos!

^ there was no snow. a weirdly mild start to winter up there.

reindeer sightings were of the domestic variety and wild crossing the roads & tundra too.

yes --- kiitos, SOWna and HELsinki --- those were the finn takeways lol. and a nice finn sweater.

^ ha thanks.

i saw the finns in america are one of the lesser known group of immigrants, perhaps due in part to their more outwardly withdrawn personalities.

for example, this is an interesting transcription of a 1933 radio report about the 13k finns in ohio:
http://www.genealogia.fi/emi/art/article161e.htm

most ohio finns settled across the northeast side of cleveland.
there is a heritage museum in fairport harbor:
