tunnel? i know that little bit of building between the two with the pool is strangely enough actually part of 1630 canal . didnt know there was a tunnel there too
I didn't know about the pool.
I guess it's really just more of a passageway (it is/was above-ground), but I think it was kind of circular in cross section (with a flat floor). I remember the walls being black plastic stuff and there were lights above and little ones at about waist-height. Very 70s/80s.

see below for the pool and how it relates to 1630 canal
You’d never guess from looking at the finished space, but this new Primary Care Clinic at University Medical Center was once part of the parking garage!
DonahueFavret transformed this first floor space into a bright clinic, designed by Sizeler Thompson Brown Architects.
Good article on the status of street reconstruction throughout the city. Here is a picture of the totally rebuilt, newly reopened first block of Bourbon Street.

its craazy that rebuild took so long but those pictures just dont do justice on the horrendous shape of the infrastructure below the street. Hopefully now the street wont stink so bad with working pipes.
Great to see the Odeon plans, I wonder what the timeline is for that. And 1100 Annunciation keeps have units go under contract nearly every week so I wouldn't be surprised if they start on that soon.
