I would love to come to an Austin meetup!! I have a preference for Saturdays b/c on Sundays I sing for my church. The 18th or 25th would be great for me.

One small problem... Austin's skyline has changed so much since my last visit, I'm afraid I'll get lost

So anyone else? arbeiter, JDawgboy, MichaelB, Strayone, LoneStarMike, Mopacs? Anyone else? I'm thinking we should shoot for the 18th so urbanactivistTX can come if he still wants to.

Everyone has to get along too.

Everyone has to get along? Maybe some of the SA forumers could come and we could fight over density and population growth.

Well of course. And I never finished that post. I went away from the computer and forgot that I hadn't finished my post. Anyway, yeah, it's never been a problem before. And that post wasn't meant for San Antonians really.

Which reminds me, The Nano, (and or any other San Antonio forumers) you up for a road trip up to Austin?

There's a 30 to 40% chance of rain early on Saturday. We'll have to watch the weather, but if worse comes to worse we can do it later in the day, maybe early afternoon, just so long as it's not raining. We'll know for sure as we get closer to the day.

We have a 60% of rain now for Saturday. We may want to plan for later in the day, say around 5 pm? I sure don't want us to get stuck in the rain, since we'll likely be taking pictures. Fox7 in Austin is showing rain throughout the day, but there may be a short period during the afternoon where it lets up.

Rain outlook for Saturday:
http://wp.myweather.net/wp/?pub=fx24...ext=3&loc=KAUS

The breakdown:

KTBC Fox7 - 60% chance
KVUE 24 - 40%
KXAN - 36 - 40% - (mainly early)
KEYE - 42 - 60%

Not sure what to do. Time wise, 5:00pm would work better for me. For people that have plans for Sat. night, however, it would probably not work.

Id say lets leave it as planned we can always go indoors to a coffee shop or a restraunt and wait it out, plus I was planning on going to the Reggae Fest at Auditorium shores right afterwards.
