You're the man Yuri!

Some great figures. Seems like we are doing pretty good for coming out of a recession. I always hear that we aren't, but just from those three years, a gain of 1.8 trillion. 3 trillion if we go by the 2015 figure of about 18 trillion. 3 trillion being almost a Germany in terms of economic output.

Next to tourism and real estate, financing and tech is the next biggest industry boom for Miami-Dade. Glad that its at 11.7% for those years. Will be higher I'd imagine as the city is trying to attract tech and making great efforts to boost its business ties with international clients. Latin America, and even Eastern European capital has been flowing into the region. China as well, and its growing in terms of Far East capital.

Economic capital of Texas. Although I'd like to see Dallas report higher figures. Hopefully down the line. Metro is booming currently. I'd imagine Seattle will boast nice figures.

You must mean "big 12" by population. Seattle would be on the list by GDP.

Port St. Lucie and Sebastian are not in the Miami Metro. Miami's Metro Includes cities like Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach. Is this just a comparison with other random cities in the state?

They were recently added to Miami's CSA. And yes it is ridiculous to include them but tell that to the census people.

Sebastian is closer to Orlando and is 157miles from Miami. Whatever, just thought it was odd.

It's hilarious to me. Vero Beach is in Miami's CSA.

It's pretty interesting to watch productivity, too. Partly because it makes France look better.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_o...er_hour_worked

Norway and the US boosted by stinky oil; Luxembourg being a ridiculous tiny tax haven; even Australia's not completely legit in there, cause their figure's boosted by gold and expensive natural materials from their soil while their population's just small.

You may thank our French anti-business socialists/left wing very much. If it wasn't for them, we'd be kicking the entire world's butt on our own. You know? Yes, you probably do, basically...

I'm astonished at Switzerland not performing so well. I think the Swiss are too humble and strict. You can see from the looks of their towns. They're not arrogant enough. They need to learn how important they are.

Interesting that "Michigan City" (All of NW Indiana?) lags while "Kankakee" (south eastern suburbs that are still in Illinois?) outperforms the region as a whole. The state of Indiana has been aggressively courting SE Illinois businesses and trying to characterize the area as "business-friendly" and "regulation-lite" and "low tax", but that does not appear to have helped anything at all.

Should the Randstad (Netherlands) be added?

Wiki:

Quote:
With a population of 7,100,000 it is one of the largest conurbations in Europe,[b] comparable in size to Milan or the San Francisco Bay Area, and covers an area of approximately 8,287 km².[a]
CBS:

Quote:
The Randstad region comprises the following areas: Almere, the province of North Holland, excluding Alkmaar and surrounding area and the northern part of North Holland, the provinces of South Holland and Utrecht, excluding the south-eastern part of Utrecht. In the Randstad region, 46 percent of the total Dutch GDP is generated; 41 percent of the entire Dutch population live in the Randstad region.
Dutch GDP (nominal) in 2014 was 866,4 billion USD, so 398.5 billion USD (46%) for the Randstad.

--- Houston, despite the low oil prices, growing crazy in nominal dollars. Really, really impressive;

--- Atlanta, both in population and GDP growth, doesn't look like Sunbelt anymore;

--- Miami MSA doing much better than the other components of its CSA. South American influence probably;

--- Detroit doing quite well. As they post no population growth over the period, this should help them to recovery their GDP per capita.
Nominal growth rates are pretty much worthless. Where did you find CSA GDP?
