From CIVIC SURREY:http://www.civicsurrey.com/2009/10/0...ing-soon-pics/

According to an article in the Surrey Now, the Chuck Bailey Rec Centre (aka: the Surrey Games Preparation Centre) is nearly complete construction. It is scheduled to open in November.

Meanwhile, the old Tom Binnie Community Centre next door has been gutted and will be demolished in the coming weeks.

Here’s so more pictures of the Chuck Bailey Rec Centre and it’s signature “glass cube” entrance.

It is a new recreation center to replace the old community center. It will also be used as the 2010 Surrey Olympic volunteer training center
