San Francisco/Berkeley

I think it's become cliche to point out there are a lot of San Francisco threads; anyway, here's another San Francisco thread...

I got to visit the Bay Area for a week this past summer while doing research at the Advanced Light Source at Berkeley National Lab. Luckily I was able to make it into San Francisco a few times during some afternoons off. Pics are by me, and they start in Berkeley and make their way into downtown San Francisco. Enjoy!

You see San Francisco just like I do! It's one of my favourite cities and you certainly did it justice. Bravo!

Stunning and lively shots of SF, I like the perspective in a lot of your shots.

Nice shots! You sure got a lot of time in my hood And for a visitor, I'm pleasantly surprised at the extent you got around. Did you by chance get any time South of Market/Upper Market neighbs (Mission, SOMA, Castro, etc)?

Beautiful pictures! Thanks for sharing.

I like all your pictures taken in San Francisco and Berkeley. Many of them are amazing, specially those taken by night. Great job!

Congrats and greetings from Madrid, Spain.

Unfortunately no, I was mostly north of Market and east of Van Ness, apart from the Marina District; the pictures are pretty representative of where I was. I would have liked to have seen more (I was planning to get out to the twin peaks...) but was limited by time.

And I'm jealous you can call this your "hood," SF really is a crazy/awesome place

Damn, I should have went to Berkley.

Why did I not go to Berkley???

Slight regret for that decision 15 years later.
