What service cuts do you expect?

Now that service cuts are inevitable, what service cuts do you think will go through?

I'll call a few:
  • Nightbus, gone once again.
  • Many underperforming suburban routes (particularily in Surrey, as if their transit service is not bad enough) could see their off-peak service reduced to say hourly service or cut. Examples:
    • 323, 324, 325, etc. hourly off-peak service.
    • 595 - hourly off-peak service.
    • 791 - off-peak service eliminated (use 701/169/159 instead).
    • 160/701 - off-peak interlining via PoCo Station to increase efficiency.

In other words, Translink is likely going to screw over those who have no choice but to take transit (students, low-income, seniors) just to keep the blue/white collar workers happy who would drive to work otherwise.

If that's the case, I think many of the new bus routes (including the 403) that's just made it into the FTN will now be eliminated from the FTN list. Perhaps services for 33 and 44 might be reduced somewhat, as well as some of the other community shuttle routes.

I'm not expecting any service cuts whatsoever.
