But why the reference to John Belushi?

Is a street reference to a popular street mix of Heroin and Cocaine, it became named Belushi after John Belushi died cause of it. Rumours have it that the combination started in the DTES but there's no real proof one way or the other. Anyways it's a good reference as most Vancouverites are constantly searching for nirvana in one way or another.

I didn't know that bit of urban slang, and I consider it a good thing that I didn't.
