A most entertaining thread. I particularly like that you didn't only shoot the usual suspects. The shots of West Philly were especially enjoyable. I don't get over that way often and it's beautiful. I really like the finish on your pictures. I don't know much about photography, but your shots have a cinema-like finish. Thanks for sharing. And thanks again and again for all your work on the construction threads. I check in daily.
I have yet had the privilege of visiting Philly, but 4 opinions from perusing through these awesome pics:
1) Philly City Hall is the finest city hall in the USA. I always love seeing it featured on NBC's Sunday Night Football or ESPN's Monday Night Football.
2) I knew from studying skyscrapers about the famous PSFS building, but I never knew how many great old buildings exist in Philly. That row of white buildings along 7th Street is sheer urban heaven on earth.
3) The Comcast Tower is one of the finest 1000 footers built in the USA since 2000. Certain buildings seem to age well and others not so well. This one will age very well.
4) I love all the rows of old town homes found in the city. A lot of the styles appear very distinct to the city and make for charming neighborhoods.
