Because it doesn't appear dark in the photos doesn't mean it isn't. Reflections and appearance of glass on New York skyscrapers depends on both time and type of day.

Architect Costas Kondylis's off-again, on-again 47-story Tower 111 is getting glassed on a dead stretch of Sixth Avenue just south of Herald Square, causing broker-blogger Andrew Fine to write, "While I might ordinarily criticize glass wall construction, maybe I'll give this a recession waver. After all, it's just good to see something going up these days!" We're thinking the folks (companies?) with windows just off Tower 111's south side might not agree with Fine's assessment.

i have maybe a silly question now with the subject of the windows facing that little tower... how do they will put the cladding on this new tower? is it going to be bricks or concret, i mean, no windows at all, and if they put some glass, how do they do it, seems so close... i know it could be 1mt between, but seems complicated to do the work.

Carnegie Hall Tower and Metropolitan Tower is my guess, although I'm not sure if they touch.
Good guess, but I don't think they touch. I know there was going to be one tower instead of two, but some dispute between the developers made the plan fell apart. My guess is something in the financial district.
