I have a lot of love for Montreal's skyscrapers roof features. Le 1000 is one of my favourite Canadian skyscrapers and I've always had a soft spot for 80-90's Pomo architecture. Le 1250 is also a pretty solid overall tower and the top finishes it off quite nicely.

I think I should tell you that the words boulevard and rue de la don't mean anything else than street.

Wow, this is tough.

I'll go for MB Hydro just cause its the most unique both in design and function that I can think of (its a freakin' solar chimney! too cool.)

But I also like 8th Ave Place 1, Batman, McGill, and Ritz.

*disregard previous comment

I got the names from Skyscraperpage & Emporis and I had it correct in the draft so I didn't know what you were talking about at first. Somehow when I was copying and pasting it from MSW to the thread they got cut off. Don't know how I missed that, guess after working on it for a few hours my brain was just tired out My apologies and thanks for pointing it out, I've correct it above the images (can't change the poll though)

Boulevard is actually a French corruption of the Old English/Germanic word Bulwark. (Dutch - Bulvark)

So boulevard is actually a Germanic word that got corrupted in French and the returned back to English in it's stylized and sophisticated French form.

lake of the nations is right, rue de la makes no sense... You cannot finish a sentence with ''rue de la '' , you can translate this by '' Street of the ''

1000 rue de la Gauchetière is correct, but no 1000 rue de la...

I'm in love with the Manitoba Hydro building. EAP is a close second.

Manitoba Hydro building being in the lead is no surprise at all but I am a little surprised at how well EAP is doing. I like do like EAP, I just wasn't sure that it 2nd best in this category.

Haha! I always thought KPMG looked like Batman. It's funny to see so does everybody else.

I voted for Ritz Toronto, EAP, and Trump TO.

RBC centre is pretty boring... all it has is that little horn/fin thing on the west side. other than that, it's flat-roofed.

I've heard it called "le chat" ("the cat") a few times. I liked it and still call it that to this day. And it gets my vote.

True that Montreal makes a very strong showing here. Pretty cool, I'd never realized how many intersting rooftops we have.

I am amazed at the results. with all the talk about batman, I would have figured that the batman bldg would be a leading contender. But it falls way behind. what gives?

RBC centre Toronto? C'mon people.

To be honest, I think this poll points out just how underwhelming Canadian rooftop/spires are.
