A morning in
SAINT-MICHEL-DE-BELLECHASSE, QC

13 pictures

Just a small village that I love. Saint-Michel is located in the region of Côte-du-Sud, on the south shore of the Saint-Laurent, 35 km north-east of Quebec City. It was founded in 1672. A village started to form around 1702. It then became a bourg in 1754. The core is interesting for its small white canadian-style artisan houses. There are over 344 heritage-listed homes for a population of ~1900. There is a nice marina on the river too.

Pictures from the end of February

The presbytère was built in 1739

Narrow streets of the old bourg
