Yeah, I see that now.

One Bloor is one step beyond awesome. However, these towers are not that bad either.

Too bad it has one of the worst bunkers of a podium in the entire city.

Shades of Hudson's Bay Centre.

That pic is from Yonge street, Trinity Square is on the west side of the Eaton Center you wouldn't see 1 bloor from trinity square.

Brookfield Place - 247 meters - still around 80 meters of steel frame to go! Looking amazing!

Outside of the financial district, no other area of the city will boast as many 200 meter plus towers as Southcore. Not even Yorkville.

ICE 1 - 236 meters
ICE 2 - 202 meters
Harbourplaza 1 - 233 meters
Harbourplaza 2 - 224 meters

And Ten York - 224 meters

From those last few pix, it looks like Sun Life Financial isn't quite as tall as MLS S... maybe 170 metres? 168?

Looks somewhere between 168 and 171.

Its a bit of an optical illusion because it is behind MLS from this angle.

I wouldnt be surprised if, 5 years down the road, Southcore has more 500ft(+) towers than the financial district.

For a large condo (220 meters / 230 meters) this one is pretty unceremonious, at least in Toronto.

Toronto citizens have become immune to the construction activity by now, its all around and seemingly unending. Giant skyscrapers getting built are the new normal...

There are now kids driving that were born after the Toronto megaboom began (around the year 2000 when 39 towers were completed between 99 and 00). How f*cking crazy is that?

Yes, everyone is indifferent now. I remember, when there was only 1 or 2 highrises going up in the core. There are so many benefits to what is happening now. Its not just for a skyscraper geek like me.
