Co11Day Tours: Random Ohio

2011 ColDay Series:

Part 1: Cincinnati
Part 2: Lexington & Frankfort
Part 3: I-95
Part 4: Indianapolis
Part 5: Random Ohio
Part 6: Las Vegas
Part 7: Chicago
Part 8: Nashville

Random scenes throughout my state

Mount Vernon

Kenyon College, Gambier

Canton

Akron

Cleveland

Toledo

Okay, so all this traveling gave me cravings for Canadian Cinnabon at the Devonshire Mall in Windsor and I happened to go through Detroit

Okay, back in Columbus

Downtown Columbus
' new RiverSouth District has added residential over parking lots and took an old, wide one-way road and converted it into a wonderful park called the Scioto Mile. Also, Bicentennial Commons has had a make-over and it's great!

(I would be driving over this two years ago!)

Road diet, yay!!!

Even the suburbs of Columbus are going all New Urbanist and *hit! Get it Gahanna!

Back in the D...Dayton!

Love Dayton's RTA Bus Hub. Even the electric buses go in there!

You can see the US Air Force Museum in the top-center and the ghetto in the bottom-center! What a contrast! Thanks America!

Cin-Day-Land!

And goodbye, from Cincinnati

A great statewide tour! Great photos. I knew someone that went to Kenyon, so I am glad to see the pics. I have to say that Columbus is doing some impressive things.

Nice pictures. I always like seeing the little county seat towns and cities, which Ohio has a lot of. The big cities are nice to see as well, though. Columbus is looking better and better.

Damn, Kenyon has a nice campus.

The Dayton aerials are fun.

Nice, nice. I was happy seeing the aerials of Dayton. More density from above than what I would have expected.

Blowhio, the worst state to drive through on the way to Disney World.

High-five from Michigan, I love LeVeque.

The McKinley Memorial is probably my favorite spot in Ohio.

One of the most badass (and underrated) U.S. presidents:
