I wish Family Day was as official as Mothers and Fathers'. But nice shot regardless.

I am not sure if that is the new lights yet entirely. In articles posted they are in the process of still changing them and installing new ones, specifically around the mast's fins.

Also they are teaching the building staff how to use and control the lights.

Those may be the new lights but they are definitely not being fully used just yet, with 16 million colors and different displays they can do and color changes, they haven't been debuted yet fully.

A news article would have been posted.

They have been testing them over the last few months.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HkkJB...feature=relmfu

They did say it should be ready by September-October so who knows they may fully be installed already. I do hope though if that is the new lights, they actually use new colors and not the same 10 they have been using. Change it up... flash the lights, do light displays, patterns, etc, they have the technology now.

Yeah, its from a tv show. They took all of the classics and put them into one shot. If only it could be so.

lol. I know Dr. Who. It just got me for a second because I was thinking... there is no angle that would show all those towers since half of them are in downtown and ESB is not... So then I thought "Well, maybe its from an episode where he goes back in time and they just wanted to have all the cool art deco towers in one shot. But then I saw BoA, a very modern tower in there (I actually think they modified it) and part of citigroup. So I don't quite get what the point was of taking all the effort to compose that background when a normal shot of Midtown would have been just as impressive, if not more so.

Definitely very pretty! Love the LED lights. I think they are still working on installing them on the fins of the spire. But overall it looks great!
