British Invasion: Tudor done right in Forest Hills NYC

This isn't what you'd usually envision when thinking of inner NYC, but I stumbled upon the area doing something else and had the camera with me. So without further ado, I present to you Forest Hills Gardens:

As a bonus, on my way to the PATH going back home, I caught a nice glimpse of the progress @ WTC

I like the fact you are showing this nabe to the many curious viewers here! It's a cozy area, not too far north or northeast of me also. Well done..

Very interesting, I've never been there. Wish it wasn't so much inward into the Queens though.

great pics

I went to high school one train stop from there, and a few parties in one of those homes. Great memories you're stirring up.

When were most of these buildings built; I'm guessing the 1920s?

Awesome photos of a great looking neighborhood. What's sad is I've visited NYC more times than I can count but never been to this part of the city.

Reminds me of Kingsway Toronto, only smaller lots and red roofs.
