Try being on the balconies on a windy day! We had an '08' unit (S/W corner), and on a windy day we had to disassemble our entire balcony set-up or it would have blown away.
The floor-to-ceiling windows were AWESOME! Made the unit look 10x bigger, yet heated the place like hell on any sunny day (mid winter or summer).

There's always like 5+ units for sale @ Piggott, at low prices. Not a good sign.

There's always at least 6 units for sale at the Olympia.. has been like that since I lived there 5 years ago. I don't see that as a problem at all. Ppl wanna cash in on their investment!

Isn't the problem at the Piggott the high condo fees? Hamiltonians really seem to detest high condo fees.

I'm not 100% sure of the Condo Fees at Piggot, but they were pretty high at Olympia. Approx $400-450 month. But to be fair, the Olympia is prolly the nicest of condos in Hamilton, plus they must have the most amenities (Renovated Pool, Fitness Ctr, Steam Room, Saunas, Party Room, Basketball/Racquetball Room, newer fast/reliable elevators, well-kept grounds, 24-hr birght/clean laundry room, etc).

I think the main prob w/ Piggott is it's outdated units.

I'm not sure if it's still happening, but about a year ago, they got hit with a Special Assessment to repair their parking garage. I think it was about an extra $400/month.
