Im guessing OKC is first in west, if so Jazz are still 2nd in northwest. Dont see the Jazz getting pass OKC.

I don't see the Jazz getting past anyone this season to the playoffs...

But their talent is fun to watch. It's bat shit scary to think of this team two years from now...

They won't catch OKC, but they can hold a spot in the playoffs, which would exceed expectations for a "rebuilding" year.

Denver back in 2nd, and moving up! Jazz are falling back to where they should be. Mid-pack.

Jazz always choke. Every year they have a good run and are place high in the rankings only to drop games to below .500 teams. This is nothing new and its why I never had my hopes up even when they were 2nd in the west. No one will catch OKC, and if the Jazz will go yet another year without winning a banner then theres no point for at least me to follow them. Good for Denver.

Hey, today's newspaper told me the Nuggets are a decent team this year. Take that, Utah!

That's basketball, right? I spent three hours at high school basketball last night. Three hours. I'll never get that back. And I'll never forgive myself.

I'm pretty pleased with the Jazz this year. They look good, they're fun to watch and they far exceeding expectations. They were picked by most analysts to finish as one of the bottom three teams in the league this year. Not that "analysts" know shit. They don't. These are the same fools who thought Denver would be screwed without Melo, and that NY would challenge Miami in the East. Even being the Jazz rival, I'm very glad that Denver is better without that Diva. They're building on the proof Dallas gave us in the finals last year that you can't beat solid team play, no matter how many superstars you buy.

This is the main reason why I just don't follow the NBA much anymore. Individual star power is more idolized than solid team play, and it's almost painful to watch how poorly-run so many of these teams are. Nobody seems to understand the fundamentals of basketball anymore.

It is refreshing the see the Jazz with all of this young talent. I think they still need that one star to really coalesce around, but I'm excited for their future.

If you're gonna contradict yourself that much, maybe you should separate the statements into two separate posts...

Yes, they're at .500 now, and still in the playoff hunt. If this is a down year, I'm not too sad about it. This team is fun, young, and you know, not Sacramento or Charlotte.

Games

The RSL Game was GREAT! .... and its even more fun on the front row. RSL should have a great season this year!

I would prefer the Jazz just play the young guys and let them get time to learn, even if they don't make the playoffs. There is no prize being the 6th to 8th spot and falling in the 1st round. I decent lottory pick is more valuable.

Great Jazz game tonight against the Lakers!

Both rookies (Burks and Kanter) scored 17, setting new career highs. It's time to bench Raja Bell and start Alec Burks. This kid is incredible!

There's no win like a Lakers win! I totally agree, Raja Bell doesn't just need to be benched, he needs to be traded!

Agreed, its time for Raja Bell to go. He's old and can't play like he once could.

I mean the guy thought Provo was the Capital of Utah (no joke).

Yeah, I don't understand why Corbin and O'Connor keep caving to Bell's tantrums. Bench him until the end of the season. Then trade him. If you can't trade him, amnesty him.
He has no argument. Everytime another guy gets his minutes, they eclipse him in every stat line.

Do or die for the Jazz tonight vs Spurs in game 4. Yep, game 4. Jazz have yet to win a game.
