Tallest residential tower, and among the most expensive too. Nice storage shed for billionaire hedge fund managers and Russian oligarchs.

111 looks ridiculous in that Bronx zoom in. And by ridiculous I mean ridiculous.

The LGA visual approach has to be one of the top 3 landings in the world. It really is quite pronounced if you get a seat facing West or on the left side of the plane. From the Verrazano all the way via the East River to LGA. Or depending on the route, coming from the North via the Bronx, down the Hudson, swinging across the bay, and up the East River to LGA. Much better than landing at JFK, visual wise.

Newark is another good one depending on the route. Can see Manhattan from soviet NJ along with the proletariat below paying 15k/yr in property taxes.

But is it worth it? To be near this city? Yes it is!

I'm confused now. Is that last shot in gramsdj's post from the Whitestone, TriBBoro/RFK or somewhere else?

That horizontal piece on top can't be from either bridge, no?

I just can't see it being a jet window.....

Thanks for the video. Lower Manhattan and Midtown look almost like two separate cities. The gap between them is so pronounced from this perspective.

In that last sunset pic, would it be fair to say that Nordstrom & 111 will almost certainly top off where the cranes end?

^ Maybe. What it tells me is that I still want a spire on CPT.

This city is 10Xing itself with 19 skyscrapers and supertalls being built or about to be built! The skyline is almost unrecognizable! The tall unfinished building is the Central Park Tower. Love the variety of architecture in this concrete jungle!

Crazy from that perspective how much it dwarfs Verre.
