Be nice to get a Denny's here and have another cool breakfast place to go to on Saturday mornings.

Ah, very nice! Can't wait for it to open, I really enjoy Harvey's burgers and it'll be refreshing to have something new open up.

Note: I consider Harvey's as new since they've been out of the SJ market for about 20 years.

Harvey's is so close to my office, I think I may end up eating there more than I should.

I was skimming through the agenda for tonight's council meeting and noticed a building permit granted for a Second Cup on Water St. Someone noticed a Second Cup sign little while back on a renovated building on Water but it was taken down shortly after; that's probably where it's going. Well, I guess we'll have another spot to enjoy our $6.00 lattes!!!!!

I'll take it. Second Cup probably makes the best London fog of the chains. Still waiting for my greasy fast food burger downtown though.

Yeah I think I mentioned some time ago. Was walking by the building that was being renovated on the corner of Water and Adelaide Street and saw an artist's rendering of a Second Cup Shop visualized for the former Melendy's location.

Awesome... can't wait to go! Although this place will probably be packed for some time. Maybe I'll wait a little while for the novelty to wear off a bit.

I don't know, can't get near the place. I have gone by there twice and the line-ups were too much for me to handle.

When I went the drive thru lineup seemed bad but I had my food in under ten minutes.

I don't really like Harvey's much anyway. I had it a few times here in Ch'town, but it really doesn't do much for me. Their poutine is really good, but I feel like it's comparable with Wendy's, where I can indulge in an awful baconator while I'm at it

I've never been a huge fan. I always thought Harvey's paddies were kind of like frozen supermarket burgers, at least in texture. Still waiting on the Works...

I had the Canadian burger and found I could only taste ketchup, which I am not a huge fan of.

I don't think there's been any updates since the original post saying it was opening in the former Mexi's location. On the other hand, I heard nothing's been started there yet. I guess we'll chalk it up to the rumor mill - unless someone else out there has information and would like to share??????

Honestly, the frozen supermarket burger texture was my EXACT thought.
