Red face TORONTO | 2384 Yonge Street | M / FT | 27 FLOORS

Address: 2384 Yonge Street (Postal Station "K")
Developer: The Rockport Group
Architect: RAW Design

Heritage property 1936-built Canada Post Office.

The current building sits on the former site of Montgomerey's Tavern, which served as a staging point during the Upper Canada Rebellion of 1837.

I like the way they incorporated the heritage building into the design, looks very nice.

Agree, it's very respectful of its surroundings and compliments the heritage building.

Is the Super Tall section the best place for a 26 floor building? Toronto is many huge projects, but I cant see this as one of them.

I know that, I just assumed lining up with projects that are mostly 50 floors + that this maybe in better company on a separate thread. In the long run it doesn't matter. I guess I could be to picky.

This one looks like it will be a winner. The materials look to be high quality and it thoughtfully incorporates the heritage building.

This is a better proposal than lots of proposals twice as tall. It's here because it's of interest.

I have no photographic update, but the crane is fully up and the tower is rising from the hole. Also, any mods should change this thread to it's new name, Montgomery Square
