Memphis International Airport: The Land of the "Three Holers!"
Sweet jebus this is an airport that offers spotters and photographers a healthy dose of wetdreamisms! Well, that is if you like the old McDonnell Douglas aircrafts and some Airbus' mixed in as well. I went to my neighbor to my southwest over the weekend and snapped a crap load of pictures. That, thanks in large part to the permission I had granted to me by both FedEx and KMEM Airport Operations/Police, proved to be a very valuable day for me. I got FedEx's first EVER Boeing 757 sitting on the ramp all by it's lonesome. It is the first of many that will come online in 2008 for the freight company as they try to replace their aging 727-200's.
