my friends set up an interactive projection on the side of the human rights museum tonight as part of the culture day festivities

It's amazing when you see shots like this and see all of the trees in Downtown St. John's, because I'd say 85-90% of the trees are behind the row houses in the middle of the blocks, so when you're walking around you barely see them (unless you pass a park) hahaha but there's TONNES of them there.

Yeah, it's a strange setup. Gower Street has some between the rowhouses and the street - but, for the most part, they're all in the central courtyards. Some of them are spectacular - and should really be public gardens (like the one behind D.'s hostel on Gower Street) - but most are just like normal backyards. Just long and narrow.
