1CP isn't stalled either; in fact 1CP has a ton more workers and activity than 111 W.57.

Holy $@#% is that skinny. I know that's the whole thing with this building, but wow. That's way skinnier than I would have thought.

You're still not seeing the entire shaft yet. It's still difficult to see from street level, but once it gains a little height it will become more obvious. This is an addition and alteration to an existing building, which is why most of the work hasn't been visible until now. The real fun is just beginning.

Love it. That cover render should be saved as a historical item for this future landmark.

The main shaft (the new addition) is just a portion of the work going on, which you get a better perspective of from above. I think some people are still under the impression that this is a tower rising next door to Steinway.

What a shot! Look at that density! Nowhere in the world, you have a 1,400 footer going up in such a super dense neighbourhood. Just an incredible feat all around.

I feel that I can relax now, watching this one and 53W53 rise above it all makes me very happy.

This one is shaping up great. Going to be such a stunner! In my opinion, midtown Manhattan needs more street trees. I always thought so when I lived there. I don't know if they feel like the crowds are too dense such that it would cause problems.

No more street trees. Every development in the city has a mandated number of trees to include, but wholesale trees lining the streets? We don't have room for that. Midtown's streets are too busy to have trees blockibg everything, as crazy as that sounds.
