I'll give you a comment papi. Hartford has an awesome downtown. Lots of talls and the decorations look great on the plaza. I love that under the bridge shot too. the sad thing is all the abandoned buildings in the residential areas. At least there seem to be boarded up, and not just burnt out hulks. And where exactly is that Capitol West Office Center? Quite the mess. Thanks for the tour, I'm sure you'll get some more replies (patience).

Cool thread. I have always loved the Traveler's Tower. It's an underrated building in my opinion.

I've learned from experience that if you don't spell out the name of the city in the thread title, you've assisted in your thread's suicide.

and it's even in the enlightened land of real cities, the northeast/midwest/canada...

nice finds on these pics, or did you take 'em? thanks for putting 'em up here. some of the shots remind me of Birmingham's gritty west side (i mean that in a good way.) kinda dense residential but still leafy green.

Oh praise God, Well the hold abandoned buildings are own by the land lord even there bored it up; the law said you need to bored it for no one to be in there or get hurt.

I think Hartford use to have like 500 to 1,000s or less with abandoned buildings not as much today because I think the city when and took it and remodel it. But Hartford is pretty dense for its Size. But im proud for Hartford, I don't care what people say because sometimes I feel people just want Hartford die off and let there City to be success for there pride “Can I talk about it, some got to say that IS the truth”. But right now Hartford trying to start back what it should be the way Hartford today look like for the past, I think this would be the past of the 80s because right now Hartford would been better then now but better then nothing.

But Hartford got mess up from the 50s, 60s, and 70s kind a like St.Louis or Detroit how they when and that similar experience.

Also I no Hartford is not as worst as it use to be like in the 90s and 80s or about 2 to 6 years ago where crime was like out of control but crimes around in Hartford still got problems...
But ummm Yea, Im am glad that yall replied to this because Hartford need that support to show people how Hartford is doing and show Hartford is doing good and not the old Hartford what it was but no I did not took theses pic but I found it and I want it to share it!!!!!
