Regina doesn't look half bad for a city its size.

Greetings, y'all.

My original username is Lenin, but due to some sort of insanely frustrating glitch I am unable to post photos or contribute to any threads under that name any more. I'm not banned or blocked, but haven't been able to post photos for a couple months now, and I have tried contacting the administration to no avail. Hence, I created a new account, and the following is a test run to see if I can actually contribute and be part of the team again.

The following shots were taken a couple months ago but I've been unable to post them until now. Without further ado, here's Winnipeg. 800,000 people, 3.6 km of rapid transit, and more brick than you can shake a stick at.

Hope this works. Word.

Lookin' west across the Red River:

A lot of new condo development is underway along Waterfront Drive, on the north eastern fringe of downtown:

Yep:

There's no sun glare. It's a flawless shot. You're probably just high:

I can dig it:

Far out:

Perhaps it's not a 'skyline' per se, but here's the cathedral and a university dome in St. Boniface, the francophone community across the Red River from downtown:

Old St. Boniface with her former city hall in the background:

St. Boniface Hospital, the region's second largest medical centre:

Taken from a parking garage, 'cause I'm hardcore like that:

Thar she be:

The western edge of downtown:

Portage and Main:

Southernburbia:

Word:

Well, that about sums it up. Thanks for viewing. I do apologize for posting so many in a row in such a thread. It won't happen again. There's still glitches even in the new account, and this was the only thread that would allow me to post photos, oddly enough. I was pretty excited to see if it would work. Peace out.

That's such a great view of downtown Hamilton. The escarpment lights at night take something away, but it's still nice. Every time I drive up that way I'm amazed I don't crash into something because I'm usually looking toward the city core

That second shot will be come pretty changed when the Connaught project goes up. (And would be completely changed should the Carmen's hotel go up there.)

My pleasure! No one really photographs the city consistently so I try my best to promote it!

Thanks for that. I try to do that too with smaller cities that you never hear much about. I feel like it adds a greater degree of interest to the forum.
