The Strand

I was looking for something else, and found this. It mentions The Strand. Where is this exactly? The link below shows a 70 foot tall "tower" as part of the shopping center.

Maybe they should've made the "tower" 700' cause I've never seen it from I-10. But, that might be because heading eastbound near that area I'm too busy staring in wowness at the sight of USAA and the Medical Center....

It's visible you just have to look for it. I saw it and had to find out what it was.

The Strand is just south of Huebner Oaks, along Huebner Road. I always thought that was funny because Huebner Oaks itself has no actual Huebner Road frontage. There's a Half-Price Books, Flying Saucer, Brindles, etc. there. The tower's not visible from the freeway because there are two midrises (Chase Bank bldg and that 9-story condo) blocking the view from westbound I-10 until you've passed it, and the trees of Ken Batchelor Cadillac and Louis Shanks block it from view from the eastbound lanes.
