Having moved from the Upper Midwest, I'm still impressed by the collection of brick buildings in the more historic Lower Midwest. Beautiful pictures! Beautiful city!

A friend mentioned today that a friend of his, from Germany, visited the States - including cities like NYC - but Cincinnati was her favourite by far. Another Canadian in the conversation agreed it was awesome. I had no idea. So it was great to see your thread just now. Nice coincidence.

Cinny has always been my favourite city in Ohio, and it's probably second in the midwest after Chicago. The Rhine is an American treasure as far as I'm concerned. What a fantastic-looking neighbourhood.
reminding myself how kick ass Cincinnati is before all hell breaks loose tomorrow and St. Louis and Cincinnati are at each others throats, heheh (i'm sure nothing crazy will happen, it will be a great series).
Any city in America would be lucky to have a neighborhood as finely scaled and elegant as Over the Rhine.
