Yeah I can't imagine it being for jumps.

I know the next jump won't bring it to the roof but surely atleast 2.

Well the next jump will bring it to the 102nd floor, then the 103rd floor, then possibly two more jumps after that for floors 104 & 105, and lastly the parapet. I would say it will top out in June so it's looking good, almost there.

Assuming that the steel for 102 and 103 goes up separately, I can see as many as three to the roof (though the last two or three jumps have gone up multiple floors each time, so I think it's probable the next one will as well), but surely the last two floors will be one jump. It's my guess that, beginning at 104, at each corner there will be a prefabricated node where the two angled columns and the center column converge, which looks like it will be two floors tall (ending at the roof).

So I stand by my guess of two to the roof (though I'll say as many as three is possible).

EDIT: Well, actually I'm going to recant and say it will probably be two more then the nodes. I was under the impression the previous jump had gone from 92M to 100, but it appears they went from 93 to 100. So comparing Otie's last diagram to his most recent one, then proportionally I'm going to say three more jumps to the roof. Of course I suppose it's possible they could put some monster 53' columns on, but I guess I shouldn't get my hopes up

By the way, Otie, do you think you could include those angled columns inside the building (the ones that connect the perimeter to the core) in your next diagram? I'm very interested to see how large those are compared to the structure as a whole.

EDIT 2: Hey, isn't glass supposed to resume today? We've spent so much time watching steel go up, it'll be nice to finally have something else to look forward to as well

Its crazy to see upclose how much equipment is on the top deck of the building and to think of how they go about moving all of it up to the next set of floors.
All those storage containers, tools, outhouses etc. all have to keep moving up.

Thats something you usually dont see or think about from the ground. It's amazing how fast they can build when you consider more than just steel is rising.

There is still a lot of work to do before we see any new perimeter columns. 93M still has a lot that needs to be done on it and nothing has been done on 100 yet.

BTW... Carlos, can you see any curtain wall installation going on under the sliding crane on the North West corner?

Ya, i even saw on the PA's website that the towers 100floor decking won't be done till the end of April. Still i hope that maybe steel will go up sooner!

Why will it take that long to deck the floors since the floor plate becomes much smaller at the top?

Where do they typically park the steel? (I'm having trouble finding it on the cam). If it is perimeter steel, we can try and figure out how tall it is.
