Is the retail occupied now? Or any word of who will go in there?

The largest unit is leased, don't know for sure who to, but the rumours had been that Shoppers would be going in.

It looks like RBC is opening a branch here. I wonder if that will replace the branch further up Kingsway at Joyce?

They used to have a branch at Kingsway and Rhodes that they closed years ago, with the increase in population at Joyce and here it's certainly possible that they can maintain both branches now.
Shoppers is also confirmed, as is a subway, and the old liqour store will be moving back in as well, beleive there are only a couple of retail units left along the courtyard/mews.

Ah, so that's the name of that complex. You just like this more since its taller.

I like the other one more not due to the tower, but the base which is nicer style than this here.

the midrise lower portion is just the right height, imo. obviously, this area will fill in over the coming years and decades but, man, what a crazy difference in those photos between this and the surrounding ultra shabby 1940s inner suburb lowrise.

I like it better because I think King Edward Village is too artificial for the area. It's a faux historic look that's just plopped down in what is in large part a Vietnamese/Asian area of Kingsway.

The only comment about 2300 is that the midrise could have abit more variation in the facade.
