You can somehow take a greyhound to Mexico, and then from Mexico you can take a bus to Panama.

Just curious. Why don't you fly?

I've said it elsewhere and it bears repeating here: Whithin a decade, Panama City will be among the top ten rated skylines on the planet.

Seems to be a similar phenomenon in Brazilian cities and elsewhere. In such high-rise fortresses the wealthy and even not-so-wealthy can feel secure. In many places a villa is simply a target. That's my understanding of the main basis for the trend. Are there other reasons as well? These developments don't seem to be adding to density in the urban center.

So, now that you mention Punta Pacifica (Pma. City), take a look of "what's going on" about some projects under construction over there.

Very nice renderings Guillermo. By the way, obviously all the construction development going on in Panama City has to be sustained by purchasing power. Are most of the people buying the condos in these towers from Panama, foreigners or both? And if there are many foreigners buying all these condos - what's drawing them there? Just curious?
I know Panama City has become a very open market and a very important financial haven, like another Switzerland - is this the main draw?

Great pictures! 102 stories?!!!?! What kind of prices are these condos for? I've checked out some sites online, but it's hard to tell if they prices are market value or if they are ripping off people who don't know enough about the country.

My gf is in panama (bocas) right now; it's kind of amazing how you can talk on the phone to someone 4000 km away on some island in another country and have it be as clear as if they were your nextdoor neighbour.

btw I am getting a lot of photobucket bandwidth exceeded messages for some of your pics

WOW this is some AMAZING shit!! It seems like everything that gets proposed in Panama City gets built, and fast. How come this doesn't happen in Los Angeles. I'm jelous. Can someone please post some street scene photos of this incredible city. The more I see pics of this place the more and more curious I get. What is the crime rate in PC? Is there much poverty. I'd like some info please.
