^ The big change with this is that they are including roughly 13% of units as affordable housing for low income seniors, and have reduced estimated daily trips by 1/3. Probably not enough to make opposition for the project go away completely, but makes for a much better argument against the opposition in the public sphere. This is an excellent play of the cards by the developer, and I hope this moves forward. If there's any place to put 1,000 units of housing, it's kitty corner from a subway stop.
