This thing is starting to look kind of massive from certain angles

Saw a good shot from the S Street bridge yesterday

It is massive looking! Walking up 34th from Chop and HUP it fills in the view tremendously. I think this building is looking like a real winner.

It would seem American Campus Communities will be branding this property as "The Summit," and not as the previously speculated "Lancaster Square."

Very nice! It's starting to look better than the rendering. I see 3601 is finally catching up too! (it's about time) Nice job on the photo Lincolndrive and summer!

After seeing this from a different angle in Ucity and the steady pictures provided by "buildingPhilly", the glass on this has really impressed me. This really stands out coming up civic center where it turns into 34th. I was not sure I would like it based on renderings, but it is coming out very nicely.

I completely agree. I'll be honest and say I wasn't really impressed by the renderings for this one (especially the original ones which appear next to the thread title.) But the actual cladding looks great in person. I really like how this is turning out.

From announcement to ground breaking to actual construction this thing has been moving fast. Much different from a host of other projects that get proposed 1-2 years before any dirt is moved. Think about all the projects that have been on drawing board for months or years prior to this project even being announced. It will be complete before some other high profile projects even finish with foundations.
