Sanctuary

Here a few of my photos taken from a walk through a city park/wildlife sanctuary named Kathryn Albertson Park in downtown Boise. The sky was cloudy and there was smoke in the air from forest fires so the blue sky is not a part of this set of pics.
BTW, I made sure to take pics without any people in them, nature only

Another park across the street:

Great pictures. I've never been in that park when the lilypads are in bloom.

The park is pedestrian only and one of the few areas in Boise mountain bikes are not allowed so it is generally quiet. Nesting season in Spring is a fun time to visit because there are ducklings and goslings throughout the park.

You have really taken some beautiful pictures, that park looks so lush and peaceful and right in the middle of a city. I am jealous.

Beautiful!

I'd never thought much about Boise until I saw some of your photos. More and more, I'm thinking I ought to make it a vacation destination. Gorgeous place!
