YESSSS!!!!

What a fake by Subban!!!
Ekholm was a beast on that play as well with the drive to the net.

I think Gibson not having his stick and the puck bouncing off Perry were more of a factor in the goal than a shot fake by Subban, without the former no goal and everyone would be saying why did he pass up a shot from the slot?

No sugar for the SENS? No one gives them a chance against the Penguins, and Ottawa just goes out and beats them. With a 6-1 record in overtime so far this year, they are reminding me of the 1993 Habs!

Nice showing, but I'm still betting it's a Pens/Preds final.

I'm cheering for Ottawa, they did pretty good in game 1.

I'm a bit of a bell-weather Sens fan; so I'm still cheering for them regardless. (I'll cheer any and all Canadian team in the playoffs for as long as they last; but the Sens will take my number 1 slot). So needless to say, I was very pleased with Game 1 and hope they can take Game 2 tonight. I'm not holding out *that* much hope in that happening, but I'll be dreaming and cheering for them while it lasts.

If Pekka Rinne could stop a few pucks for Game 3, that would be great.

Ouch, that game was rather painful. Neither team seemed to have much energy going out, so whoever got lucky first was obviously going to take it. Still, the Sens went what? almost 20 minutes without a shot on goal? They really need to regroup and find their reserves for the next games if they want to stay in this. First home game is going to be very important with a 5-game series now.

I'm completely behind on goings on with Stanley cup play offs..

ok..so looks like down to 4 teams now. I'm still hoping for Anaheim & captain Ryan even though there are also several players from Saskatchewan to bring home the cup for Pittsburgh team too.

Bravo harls, I was wondering if anyone would pick up on that, it took like forever too..
The Smith family are good people, it would be great to see home town boy bring home cup to Canada for first time in over two decades on behalf of the Senators. Ottawa should be so lucky

Nashville may be too much for the Ducks to handle.

The Nashville fans seem pretty rabid too. Really hoping for a Predators/Senators final, but realistically it'll be Predators/Penguins.

Someone should put out an Amber alert for Fleury; he clearly forgot to show up tonight.

Good on the Sens for pulling off such a powerful win. Just 2 more to go to clinch it. Nailing it on Friday would be especially good.

It did feel like they slacked off a bit towards the end; but with a strong lead it's understandable. As long as they don't collapse like Edmonton did.

Giving Crosby another goose egg would've been even better; but it wasn't meant to be.
