Sorry it doesn’t meet you standard, so this thread can take it or leave it, but given the difficulty of getting official heights from Burnaby projects it is the most concrete figure we have now.

I appreciate you gathering the intel, but "a source" doesn't make it official. Also, specific to this thread and SSP, the tallest Gilmore tower is now listed at an estimate of 215 metres... up from the previous estimate of 209 metres.

Burnaby’s lack of transparency regarding tower heights is quite frustrating. Such sources are the best we usually get... Better than the flat out guess.

Official marketing matierial says “over 700 feet” so this falls in line with that.

That's pretty awful that an unconfirmed* figure provided by an anonymous source is the best forumers can come up with for a regional tallest. The site specifics should be known by now to planning.

*a number is provided with a degree of error.

I have sent emails to the developer and to the city of Burnaby. Developers never reply if you are no one and it is not about purchasing, and the city of Burnaby hilariously tells you to consult this forum!

So please give it a try. If you do better than us we would love for you to get the official heights for the following projects: All the towers for Gilmore Place, all the towers for Concord Brentwood, Triumph Residences, Gold House, Escala, Aviara, all the towers for the Edmonds plan, and while your at it 567 Clarke+Como Tower in Coquitlam just to start.

Thanks in advance!!

You will be a hero to the Vancouver section.

Even those who seem to be in the know, such as Left Coaster, can’t seem to supply us with any heights out of Burnaby (and Coquitlam) unless outright said by the developer. Best suggestion I have received is using the freedom of information act... which seems like a lot of trouble just to get a tower height for this stupid forum.

Cadillac Fairview Tower's new sign pushes it up to 151.2 metres. Also of note, the former geodetic heights obtained from Google Earth were spot on. (although the architect's submitted drawings may have used the same program)

Talk about a clever way to get the majority of the units on higher priced upper floors.
Looks great !

It's really starting to look precariously placed with more bulk being added to the top. I love the effect.

I like the design but it really does look like a good puff of wind would knock it over.

There is no way I would live in the top part of that building. I'm sure it's 99.99% safe but I would have nightmares every night about it coming down in an earthquake.

The list on the OP has been updated... not many changes this month. Prime Condos is on the diagram, but it has been reduced in height to 142 metres, so is no longer on this list. Same thing will happen to 980 Dufferin St.

Very disappointing. Can't say I'm surprised but disappointing nonetheless.
