The CW tv show "Nikita" had a good chase scene in Gore Park (s02e09), here's a few screen shots.. BTW - Sorry they're crappy 240p.

Nikita Crossing James Street just south of King in front of the CIBC building.

A Shot of Jackson Square.

A shot of an HSR bus.

A wide shot of Gore Park and King St.

Kinda surprised at how they didn't seem to clear people away or anything. Looks like they just shot it at random.

This episode aired a few weeks ago. They used actual satellite images of the Steel Yard in the show, I didn't bother taking screen shots of the scenes taking place in the building as it's not familiar territory.

^^Image from the show.

^^Shot on James street, you can see the bus stop "James opposite Robert"

Martin Short - the Canadian comedy legend - shot a comedy special for CBC called I, Martin Short, Goes Home (Short's last comedy special was I, Martin Short, Goes Hollywood for HBO) and it airs on April 3, at 9pm (9.30 NT). Co-hosting Live With Kelly on US television, Martin gave the viewers a sneak peek... and now we have it:

Video Link

The special follows Short's return to his hometown of Hamilton and has quite the cast, including Eugene Levy, Andrea Martin (who you can see in the preview), Fred Willard.

I watched this last night and it was hilarious - classic Martin Short. Harkens back to SCTV's heyday. If anyone was hoping for shameless civic boosterism they'd be disappointed. Short's Hamilton ballad which he croons Sinatra-style while dancing around the Gore Park fountain was pure gold.

Here it is on CBC's website: http://www.cbc.ca/video/#/Shows/1221.../ID=2219038430

I'm about 8 minutes in and, as Mark says, classic Martin Short... Which is both a good and bad thing.
