I didn't realize that the middle tallest portion will have a color change as well. Very cool.

So, if the Hudson-side's setback apex transitions to gold and main apex goes to silver, will we see the opposite effect on the East River side?

I noticed the right side does not have a crown peak. I assume it is because the crane to complete the top crown is in the way and they will get to the right crown. It better not be a case of value enginnering...I guess we will find out later this month or Aug once the top crown is done.

Why would you/one think VA'ing would come into play now, especially since:

A. This epic monument is 99.5% done

and

B. On the astronomical off-chance that your observation is correct, imagine M. Nouvel's reaction when such tidings are brought to him.
