happy 4th of july (post your fireworks pictures!)

illegal pictures of fireworks from the marquam bridge! btw I do have a tripod I'm just too lazy to haul it around with me.

nice pics. I was on the lawn at the waterfront park. I looked over at the Marquam Bridge but didn't see you.

since when have they brought in two barges? I used to go to the Portland one, but one year I didn't go into the Blue Fest and all the fireworks were blocked by the Hawthorne. The next year I watched from inside the festival but it was so packed I decided not to go back...If I had known they were launching from two barges I would have been there!

no, but that didn't stop a bunch of cars from pulling over and getting out to watch the show.

well heres my contribution from the parking garage next to the hawthorne bridge. it was my first time taking pics of fireworks so i got some interesting results.

Only got a couple of fireworks pics before my battery died… and nothing spectacular.

Cool pictures. Portland seems like a cool place to spend the Fourth of July. I love the fireworks that shoot from the boats. They have those here in Baltimore as well; Portland's boats are bigger though
