Back with another thread, more of the stuff I usually post, the random, the good, the bad, whatever floats my boat.
These are all from around November and December of 2011.
Enjoy!
Vancouver on the ground looks quite a bit more lived-in than you'd gather from its squeaky-clean reputation... the contrast between the spotless glass highrises that make up the skyline and some of the neighborhoods is interesting. It helps that you have a good eye, there were a lot of interesting subjects and angles in here.
Thanks very much for the comments
I post a lot of Vancouver threads on here so I try and make them as varied as possible, as there's many sides to this (and every) city.
wow, those are some shots I imagine the Vancouver board of tourism would rather not see! BTW, there's a hysterical mocumentary called The Delicate Art of Parking about parking enforcement officers set in Vancouver from a few years back-- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WKJiDf_k0UA
I really like the idea of giving a photo thread a particular theme. We don't really see much of that on here. I have a few I want to do down the pipe line if I can ever make this move to flickr pro lol....
Great shots as always, entheos! You're by far the best Vancouver photographer on the forum when it comes to variety and showing off the less polished areas of the city (of which there are a lot more than other photo threads would let on).
