Agreed. It mimics the Moody National Bank Tower two blocks north of it, which also has some really nice arch windows facing 15th and Guadalupe Streets.

Not yet. It could take anywhere from two weeks to two months before that info is made public on the site plan filing.

Can we get an indefinite moratorium on those stupid exposed angular support beams on amenity decks already? My God is that getting old seeing those in nearly every new building. Will not age well at all.

Everything else here is pretty decent, and I give them credit for resisting the urge to put the equally hideous haphazardly staggered vertical lines above the podium.

The ABJ has an update and a new rendering. It'll be 35-stories & 400' with 290 condos and ground floor retail. It's named The Luminary. From the ABJ:

"Currently, the Combined Law Enforcement Associations of Texas is located in a building at the 14th and Guadalupe site. The organization will relocate temporarily but move into office space in the new tower when it's completed, according to the announcement.

The price of a condo will range from $600,000 to more than $3 million, according to Northland, and Austin-based Urbanspace LLP is in charge of marketing and sales.

Flintco LLC is the project’s general contractor, Page Southerland Page is designer, Kimley-Horn is the project engineer and Drenner Group PC is providing legal services.

So Arcadian design (revised slightly) with The Luminary name.

Sounds like a nice compromise.

Hope they go through with this, brings much needed height to the area. Imagine this, The Liberty (14th & Lavaca), and Annie B (12th & San Antonio) developing a nice 400' plateau in NW dt

Preferred the green but this is still nice, especially the base.

I just want a green tower so bad.

This project is in my top 3 favorite proposals of current projects. I'm glad they kept the scalloped arches, and hope the white material is some kind of masonry.

The arches at the bottom remind me of the new section at Blanton.

This will be marketed by Urbanspace, the folks behind The Modern:
"Urbanspace is ecstatic to announce our newest highrise community - Luminary. Urbanspace will be partnering with Developer Northland Living, as the exclusive sales and marketing company for this 35-story tower centrally located at 14th and Guadalupe, nestled in a unique pocket between Judges Hill, The Texas State Capitol, and the West Side of Downtown. This marks our third project to work on with Architects Page Southerland Page, Inc. and General Contractors Flintco, LLC. Be in the know regarding the latest project developments by registering your interest at LuminaryAustin.com."

We probably need to crowdsource our over/under for 2024 groundbreakings. I have a suspicion that there's more out there than we think.

We started that discussion in late December in the Next Wave thread. I have 5 possibilities over 300'.

Not according to Urbanspace: "sales and construction will begin next year, with the first homes beginning to deliver in early 2028."
