As the last major parcel of developable land in midtown, again, I don't see any reason to be worried. Everything you see here is being driven by actual market demand. This is no real estate bubble.

Two bridges to cross if we get to them. For now, the show goes on, no reason not to be excited.

I hope Nordstrom isn't a flat-roofed box like this one. It would be a wee bit boring to be honest if the tallest towers are boxy and crown-less.

I think the original design was sloped (at 1550') but the most recent rendering makes it look really boxy.

Ahh, so that blue is not the final color, just covered in sticky wrap. This will actually almost look like a glass tower, the windows are so big.

^Agreed.
Regarding the windows- there are two seen in the 56th street cam that appear to have a green hue. I don't believe green is the intent, as it may be film, but imagine a light green glass paired with the white concrete.. It would look phenomenal. Also, a couple of the renderings show what appear to be stainless trim, centered along the entirety of the concrete grid. I certainly hope they include that, as it would add a subtle dimension to the facade. At any rate, I'm truly impressed with this building. It will be an instant icon.
