I just made an account to put some New West updates on the forumn, and saw someone beat me to it!

It looks like they are starting to either shore up, or dig out the foundation/underground. At the very least, fences are up and excavators are on site.

Really? That's great news! we'll have the Merchants Square, Viceroy and 258 on 6th U/C at the same time! Hopefully even Port Royal tower will be U/C by the time the other 3 are finished.

Just did a massive overhaul of the New Westminster diagrams on the city's skyscraper page.

Took it from 1 last week, to 8 yesterday, now (if they all get approved) 27 tomorrow.


Hope someone with a bit more skill in diagram making can help us out by makin some higher quality ones

I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that the iron cross is probably the badge of a UK viceroy.

It looks like the hole for Viceroy is nearly finished. It looks as though this one is officially under construction.

There are about 70% sold now. Bought the largest one bedrooom available (Plan F) which is no longer listed on their site when they had the 2 year rental guarantee available. They have released the low rise renderings and floor plans which are on sale now as well.

I see a crane gantry (at least the vertical bit of it) poking up from the viceroy site. It would appear that this project is entering its next phase.

They have sold 2 units of the Viceroy low rise off 5th and without any advertising and plan on a big advertising blitz in the new year.
