A Bit of Fall in Portland

This is just a small collection of shots taken over the past month or two in and around downtown Portland and PSU. Hope you enjoy!

I definitely enjoyed seeing these. Portland has to be one of my most favorite cities to see on this forum, yet IMHO it's seen much too infrequently. So thank you for these!

Amazingly beautiful, so much to see on this earth, and so little time and money to do it all.

Beautiful photos. You must have been holding onto these for a little while, because I remember seeing the sun for five minutes on Saturday, but that's pretty much it . The views from the tram are great; I'll have to take a ride one of these days.

Did they repaint Ione Plaza? I thought I remember its being blue, but I'm questioning my memory. Are you an architecture student at PSU?

Thanks for the excellent set!

Thanks!

ChrisLA, I share your sentiments...at least we have photos, right?

Hossboss, I think Ione may have been repainted...I never saw them doing it, but I have some older photos in which it was more blue/grayish. I am a Community Development major at PSU, hoping to go into planning for grad school.

Beautiful shots, I very much enjoyed them. You've got talent with the camera.

And OMG, this is the first time I've seen this brigde and on-ramps. Yikes!

Yeah, it makes my city look like it is a big city when it isn't all that big...but I do love it here.

To me, Portland, Seattle, Denver, etc. are "just right" in terms of size.

FWIW, I finally got around to visiting Portland this past June and fell in love. It's a great city with lots to love (gardens, coffee, Powells Books, good public transit, etc.). Thanks for sharing these wonderful pics! They make me want to visit again soon.

What is the building in #16 from the top (Lloyd district shot) way off in the distance?
