Friends of Lafitte Greenway working to extend the 2.6-mile linear park
They’ve created a petition to connect the Greenway to Canal Boulevard.

I know we dont post much restaurant news here but I think this sounds really neat: Its good to see NOLA becoming a few European only groups first or second market they enter when coming to the US.. the other being Bocce Pizza from Italy.

Parisian Restaurant Group Will Import an Aperitif Bar to New Orleans

I think the Lafitte Greenway is really coming along well. I think 5-10 years down the road as more spots open along it it really will be something. The bulldogs people opening a big tchoup yard type bar along it next month should be great for the area.

totally agree and thats why Im excited about extending it all the way to Canal.. i didnt realize that railroad section is still active... it sounds like all they do is move some brick filled cars to one warehouse so maybe theres a way to coexist for the time being

There have been some complaints on Mid-City nextdoor about the brickyard- I think there's a shipment early every morning so it will be interesting to see if that hampers the plan.

Yeah, I know. I think the complaints are a little silly, but I really just wanted to post because apparently there are shipments every morning. That could cause problems with any plan for re-use.

Great shots of the progress being made at The Sydney and Walda Besthoff SCULPTURE GARDEN @ New Orleans Museum of Art by Zephyr Drones! #palmisanoprojects

Let’s do this! We are thrilled to partner with Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy to bring their new campus to life and serve their growing student population. The new 125,000 SF campus will further KDHSA’s mission to provide a rigorous learning environment where students achieve academically, develop intellectual curiosity, and practice environmental responsibility. #palmisanoprojects #buildabetterworld

Check out this great post detailing the progress made thus far on the Ms Rau Antiques expansion. We are excited to be a part of the transformation of two historic French Quarter gems into new gallery space for the renown antiques dealer:

It was a beautiful day for our Groundbreaking Ceremony at the New Orleans Charter Science and Mathematics High School.

With media coverage from Channel 6 and the acknowledgement and speeches from some of our state Representatives and City Counsel Members, such as Alena Moreno and Royce Duplessis, this long awaited occasion has finally kicked off.

We are proud to be a part of this momentous occasion and project. We at TMG hope to continue to serve this community and the City of New Orleans

Restaurant Sofia

Restaurant Sofia is an interior buildout of a historic New Orleans building into a modern Italian restaurant featuring an exposed open flame pizza oven and bar, a wine tasting room, and open dining seating for up to 90 guests. The restaurant will have a simple and elegant feel with painted original brick walls, stained concrete slab, artistic millwork details at the bars and ceiling, along with handcrafted wood furniture.
