"To develop a 1,000ft high broadcast tower with associated anchor points and a transmitter building to accommodate broadcast gear. Includes space for a back-up generator and an HVAC system to maintain equipment."

This would be a similar scale to the broadcast tower in Stoney Creek atop the mountain beside Centennial. Given the subdivisions encroaching on that one, I almost wonder if this is to replace it.

With CHCH moving to Clappison's Corners that would make sense. The tower in Stoney Creek is theirs.

Fun fact: apparently it was the tallest structure in Canada when it was built.
