#ogdenutah (#lotsofphotos)

My last photo thread of Ogden was nearly four years ago, so I wanted to do an update that showed the current state of the city - strengths, challenges & changes.

I also have been mesmerized by the recent movement by the masses toward sharing their experiences and photographs through mobile based filtering social media apps such as instagram. I decided to take all my pictures with my phone and process them with mobile filter apps and share them that way, grouping them with #hashtags, as a nod to this most recent trend.

Hope you enjoy.

#ogdenutah

Ogden is a midsized town about 35 miles north of Salt Lake City and is the principal city of the Ogden-Clearfield Metropolitan area. The city has a great array of historic commercial and residential architecture in various states of upkeep. Since my last photo thread, the city has continued along is path toward urban renewal.

Nice photos... I remember seeing most of them on my walks while I lived in Ogden for a few years... Thanks for posting them...
