I'm sure the developer would make a little more fortune since the City allows them to go taller after the land swap. This would help the developer project higher future sales figures, allowing it to splurge a little more on such "luxuries".

Moral of the story is that going taller comes with all sorts of benefits, like nicer alley walls.

It is still true that it seems only the subsidized buildings are getting better treatment than most conventional condo/apartment buildings, be they financed through developers or tax dollars.

Not really feeling that, but its a hundred times better looking then the design with the octagon exoskeleton. Doesnt look nearly as busy as the old design, in my opinion.

A bit weird to have the rental and the market lobbies so side-by-side, esp. when the rental bank of elevator is so visible from the street.

I don't like the schizo-look to the final product. Prefers the old design, or for the new design, they should at least have both sides look similar.

it looks pretty cool, much different from its neighbors. I can hardly wait to see the awful 1980's social housing get demolished. I remember reading somewhere that it's a leaky building too.
