agreed on the sentiment of this date, the renderings excite me but come nowhere near the ways I'm going to love the 3-dimensional building once construction is approved.

What an awesome proposal! I showed it to my wife and she said it was the best proposed building I've ever shown her on SSP. She has yet to visit New York and I would love to take her and be able to see projects like this come to reality!

I'm glad to learn that I'm not the only one who niggle my wife with skyscrapers building sites !!

Yes indeed, this Pyramid project looks very flossy and tasteful !
Not very high but so different !

Not tall by New York standards, but I think location will help with that all important visibility.

This project is now fully-funded and beginning excavation.

This is an old rendering fly, but faithful.

This is such a heinous building and has absolutely no place in New York. These stupid experimental buildings belong in European cities like Copenhagen or Berlin where they're a dime a dozen, just not 500' tall.

It's incredibly easy for experimental concept buildings to turn out horrible, and this most certainly seems like it will.

*furious*

It never ceases to amaze me how unbelievably different one person's opinion can be from another's. I'm in love with this building, and it's my favorite development in NYC. I'm glad it's being built...extraordinarily imaginative and ahead of its time. VERY good planning...it feels like a vertical neighborhood for real people, not just snooty millionaires that want their cookie-cutter floor on some bland condo building with a view of Central Park. Snore.

OMG this building is SO sick, I was SO hoping it'd be built. SO excited. I might die.

That is great news, I would like to see this built. It probably wouldn't work in the middle of Manhattan, like 6th Ave for example, but its in the right place now. Built it!

I'm dreaming right freaking now of what if...instead of the current proposal...it were half the North-South width and about three times the height.

This will be the best building on the west side. Compared to the Trump monstrosities a few blocks north, this is like a dream.
